First Step – The Counties are sending the TRIM (that is the official name of the proposed tax notice). This happens in August of every year.

Second Step – Tax payer or his agent can appeal his/her taxes. The deadline is September 18th, 2009.

Third Step – The county will notify the tax payer or the agent that appeal was received and will schedule the hearing.  That notice should be mailed around November - December. 

Fourth Step – The County will schedule the hearing. This will be at around May / June. Dates could change based of the amount of appeals.

Fifth Step – County will mail a notice of the appeal outcome and the revised “market value”
